Configuration

Latest addition : 29 October 2013.

DoudouLinux is designed to be used by children without requiring to tune the system first. Nevertheless you may want to improve some of its aspects, depending on your hardware configuration or on the place you live in. For example changing the screen resolution, the mouse speed or even choosing the sound output when several output are available; changing to a language variant or changing the keyboard layout. All of these are basic DoudouLinux tuning.

Finally an aspect that may be interesting to configure if you intend to use DoudouLinux regularly is data persistence. In this case it is obviously better to find your work after rebooting the computer. Persistence makes it possible by using either the internal computer disk or an USB data storage device (external key or hard drive).
